Working with the Research Pharmacy

Medstar Georgetown University Hospital requires that any drug supplied by a study sponsor for use in a clinical trial be stored, prepared, and dispensed by the Research Pharmacy. The CROO can provide pricing detail for the use of the Research Pharmacy.

You should:

• Provide contact information for the Research Pharmacy (new window) to your study sponsor. 
• Include the Research Pharmacy in your site initiation visit (SIV).
• Meet with the Research Pharmacy Manager to discuss special dispensation requirements for your protocol.
